Dealing with different "ways of life" and their relationship to each other is the focal point of the festival CYNETART 2014. So it does not wonder that the ECAS artist in residence project METAMUSIC by alien productions was presented and even awarded during the festival. We were pleased to welcome the artists of alien productions and the parrot expert Julia Bellmann in the temporary studio in the Dalcroze Room of the Festspielhaus Hellerau in Dresden.
Among other Moritz Simon Geist introduced us his drum robot MR 808 with an exclusive concert, Martin Kusch and Marie-Claude Poulin from the European Mobile Dome Lab stopped by, also Alwin Weber, a representative of the Dresden Circuit-Bending scene; Jo Siamon Salich presented his HOLOstage, Deborah Hustic told us about the CYNETART jury session and we got to know the music by Oake and Moon Wheel, who just played the next door. Also we will ask ECAS video docu maker Nathan Budzinski, what is to be found similar to all nine member festivals.
